About the ECS Parent Community Organization
The Parent Community Organization was founded in the summer of 2008,
shortly before Imagine Environmental Charter School opened its doors to
students in August 2008. All parents and guardians of current ECS
students are automatically PCO members, as are all school employees and
Board of Trustees members. Any interested community member is also
welcome to be involved in the PCO as a member.
History
The first edition of the PCO newsletter, comPOST, featured an article about the history and founding of the PCO.
Meetings
Meetings are held during the 4th week of each month throughout the school year. See our calendar for specific dates. Read our Meeting Guidelines here, including meeting format, agenda items and childcare.
Mini-Grants
The PCO has established a fund for ECS faculty, administration, staff, parents and community members to cover the costs of special school projects. Learn how to apply for funding.
